Marisa was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Marisa always had a calling to work with animals (wildlife and domestic). In Peru she worked at the Health Department – Zoonosis Center as manager and years later was a veterinary representative for Purina – Nestle. Marisa was a practicing veterinarian in Peru before relocating to the United States. Since her move, she has worked as a veterinarian technician at a local animal hospital and in animal welfare for over 10 years and a co-owner of a grooming store in Port St. Lucie. Marisa has an extensive background and experience with medication for elderly animals.
